Workbench and customising requests are created in SAP SolMan and transferred to Jira. Jira is now used as a project management tool and enables a flexible way of working. The developers organise their work in workbench and customising tasks. After completion, the transports can be triggered in Jira and then executed in SAP. Documentation, overview and communication to internal customers on execution and feedback simplify daily work. (Please note that SolMan was discontinued by SAP in 2027 and also take a look at the SAP TMS use case).
